It's almost October!

It's hard to believe that it will be October tomorrow! I just love the month of October. The trees are showing off their bountiful colors. The leaves are gently falling, the smell of  burning wood stoves drift through the air and a cool crisp nip is all around!
Just thinking about it makes me feel all warm and  fuzzy! I wish I could bottle up the month of October and open it up whenever I  needed a autumn fix!
But since I can't do that I am going to enjoy every second of this up coming month!

Life has been pretty busy around my house these days. I am busy getting ready for my holiday shows as well as filling orders. It's a great busy but somedays I wonder if I'll ever get it all done!
I work full time and have a little guy who is almost a year old so most of my crafting is done after he goes to bed. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I love being a mom and I love crafting and I like my job. So I guess what I really need is about 5 more hours in the day and the energy to go with it!!  I am sure many of you feel the same way!

To welcome the 1st day of October I decided I'd share some of my favorite fall pictures. These were taking at Ann Lee Pond just a few miles from my house. I love taking my dog Sadie for a walk there.  As soon as I turn down the street to the pond she starts barking and getting all excited! It's her favorite place to walk!

Happy October Eve!
Until next time!
Heather

That looks like a beautiful place year round, but especially in the fall! I love all those things too. Fall is my favorite month of all! The leaves have been falling off the trees and I find myself just watching them out my window. I also love to hear the sounds they make as the winds shuffle them around.

I worked part time and have 3 kids at home so I know what you mean about never having enough time! It just seems to slip away. I quit my job 4 months ago and I still don't have enough time in the day!
